Dr. Martins da Rosa is the developer of the Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration technique, or IDR. This minimally invasive, treatment modality is for immediate loading of single-tooth dental implants in fresh extraction sockets and it reduces interventions by integrating reconstruction of tissue loss. The technique is detailed in a book, "Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration (IDR) - Immediately loaded implants in compromised sockets," which sold out in the first three months.
Dr. Martins da Rosa frequently gives lectures around the world providing instruction on IDR. He coordinated the specialization course in implantology and the prosthesis over implants course at Meridional Dental Study Center (CEOM) - Passo Fundo/RS. Dr. Martins da Rosa was the scientific coordinator of the specialization course in implantology at Brazilian Dentistry Association (ABO) in Florianópolis/SC.
Dr. Martins da Rosa has a practice and provides courses and coordinates research groups at his study center in Caxias do Sul/RS - Brazil.
